Last night I was sitting around bored after the punks were placed into their beds and decided to watch The Hurt Locker. Lets review:
Excellent Movie.
The part at the end when he is all standing in the cereal aisle, totes true. I have seen the same look on Charley's face more than once.
The adrenalin kick is a force to be reckoned with, it will haunt you in your sleep (so I hear).
Probably, not the best flick to watch while Charley is in Afghanistan. Didn't sleep a wink last night. Stupid movie.
I understand that feeling! I have a friend that's in Iraq right now and a dozen more that I'm sure any day I'll hear they're headed back too.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't imagine my husband being there. Be strong my prayers are with you and your family!
I know what it's like to have loved ones over there...thank goodness my hubby missed the last deployment but who knows when another will be around the corner....stay strong
ReplyDeleteHugs to you from your BFFRU (Best Friend Forever Runner Up)
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine having my hubby in Iraq! My sister-in-laws boyfriend is on his way right now. He was in Ireland this morning (imagine being there on St. Pats and the stupid army won't let you do anything! the horror!) and he's expected to get into Iraq later this week. We'll be praying for you and the kids AND for his safe return :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great movie...but yeah maybe not right now for you. You, your hubby and whole family are all amazing for what you do!
